“Demur(e)” utilizes a short looping video fragment from the 1939 film "The Wizard of Oz". The selected scene depicts Dorothy caught alone amidst a raging storm unable to get into the shelter before slipping into the dream of Oz. Within this video, Dorothy's actions are repeated and reversed as they are projected onto the wall at a monumental scale. Her body becomes trapped in a magnified and unending struggle. ”Demur(e)” and “Folly” can be shown together or separately.
